1. Data controller

2. Categories of personal data

• Identity: name.
• Contact: email address.
• Customer transactions: plan and subscription details, credit movements, followed creators, saved videos, collections, notes, scripts, profile and topic details.
• Finance: Paddle customer and subscription ids (card details are not processed by the Company).
• Transaction security: IP address, browser details, session records, password hash.
• Marketing and analytics (only with your explicit consent): pages visited and in-app steps, tied to your user id.

3. Purposes

• Setting up and performing the membership and service contract, providing the service.
• Running subscription, payment and credit processes.
• Keeping information secure and preventing abuse.
• Meeting legal obligations, answering requests and complaints.
• With your explicit consent, measuring and improving how the product is used.

4. Legal grounds

• KVKK Art. 5/2-c: directly related to setting up or performing a contract.
• KVKK Art. 5/2-ç: required to meet the controller's legal obligation.
• KVKK Art. 5/2-e: required to establish, exercise or protect a right.
• KVKK Art. 5/2-f: the Company's legitimate interest (e.g. service security), provided your fundamental rights are not harmed.
• KVKK Art. 5/1: explicit consent for analytics (“Accept” in the cookie notice); you can withdraw it any time under “Cookie settings”.

5. Transfers

Your personal data is transferred, limited to the purposes above, to suppliers we use: hosting (Vercel), database (Neon), background jobs (Trigger.dev), error reporting (Sentry), AI (Anthropic), public platform data (ScrapeCreators, Google YouTube Data API), payments and invoicing (Paddle), usage analytics with your explicit consent (PostHog) and, for Google sign-in, Google.

Some of these suppliers are abroad (mainly the US and EU). Transfers abroad follow the conditions and safeguards of KVKK Article 9.

Data may be shared with authorized public bodies when they request it, as far as the law requires.

6. How we collect it

Your personal data is collected electronically and automatically through the sign-up form, your actions in the app, Google sign-in and our payment provider Paddle.

7. Your rights under KVKK Article 11

• Learn whether your personal data is processed and request information about it.
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly.
• Know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad it is transferred to.
• Ask for incomplete or incorrect data to be corrected.
• Ask for deletion or destruction under the conditions of KVKK Article 7.
• Ask for corrections, deletions or destructions to be notified to third parties who received the data.
• Object to a result against you that arises solely from automated analysis.
• Claim compensation if you suffer damage from unlawful processing.

8. Applications

Your application is concluded free of charge within 30 days at the latest. You can delete your account on the Profile page at any time; feedback you sent is unlinked from your account and kept anonymously. Deleting does not remove analytics records at PostHog automatically, so write to contact@hithunter.ai to have those deleted too.
