Changelog

The important changes to hithunter, newest first.

    • influtrend is now hithunter, at hithunter.ai. Old links take you to the new address; you'll need to sign in once more. Emails now come from hello@hithunter.ai, and you can reset your password by email.
    • The menu button on video cards is now dark, so the outlier badge stands out.
    • Promoted videos and videos removed from the platform no longer show in your feeds; the ones you saved stay, with a label.
    • When adding a creator, you can search TikTok or YouTube by name; on Instagram, type the exact username. An account that can't be found no longer uses one of your daily adds, and limit messages now say which limit you hit.
    • In My niche you can hide a video or a creator, and add a creator you like with one tap. Bring hidden ones back in Settings. Every suggested account has a link to open it on its platform.
    • All plan meters now read the same way: used / total. The plan page turns orange near a limit and red when it's full, and the plan box is green again.
    • New topic: Product reviews & UGC.
    • Pick your content language from 60 languages; change it in Settings and scripts are written in it without asking each time. When a topic doesn't match, we suggest the closest ones.
    • My niche no longer repeats creators you added yourself. The plan box shows your creator slots too. Creators you pick during onboarding land in the list at the top, and platforms show their own logos.
    • You can now type a topic that isn't on the list on the topic step; we match it to the closest one when you save. Each topic now sits in one card with its subtopics. You pick your own tone.
    • On the script page, Edit and Collection are visible buttons, and you can see and change a saved script's collection from the list.
    • Pick your topics by typing: add up to 3, and write your own words when a topic isn't on the list. Music, art, sports and the new topics now have creators.
    • On the Free plan, My niche now shows the top 6 ideas; all of it, with filters and search, is on Plus and Pro.
    • The plan box in the sidebar shows your script credits and today's breakdowns as two bars. Sending feedback now has its own row in the menu.
    • Write for me no longer asks for a type: every script rebuilds the video in your own words.
    • The getting-started guide now stays with you on every page: it ticks each step as you do it and shows what to press next. The welcome screen is new too.
    • Instagram and TikTok cover images no longer disappear, on older videos too. When there's no image, the card shows the creator's picture and the start of the caption.
    • Clearer credit wording: what's left now reads as script credits, and limit messages match your plan.
    • A short tour and a 4-step getting-started guide now explain what an outlier is and how hithunter works. Reopen it any time from How it works in the account menu.
    • New topics: Music, Art & design, Sports, Cars, Health and Lifestyle. If yours isn't on the list, write it in your own words.
    • My niche now also shows videos from creators in your niche's subniches.
    • You can now rewrite a script: leave out kept facts, add new ones and say what should change. The new version uses 1 credit and the old one stays.
    • Video stats now fit in one card: the video's views next to the creator's usual views as bars, with likes, comments, followers and length below.
    • Adding a creator no longer uses your daily lookups. Follow up to 3 creators on Free, 10 on Plus and 30 on Pro; at the limit we ask whether you'd like to upgrade.
    • Ideas now show every video above its creator's normal (1×+) by default.
    • The middle plan is now called Plus.
    • On a video page likes, comments, followers and length stand out more; long titles open with "Show more" and no longer repeat in the caption.
    • Upgrade prompts now open in the middle of the screen on desktop.
    • Discover's filters no longer scroll sideways: period, multiplier, platform and sort each open as a menu.
    • On a video page the caption now sits right under the title; long captions open with "Show more".
    • Saved now also lists videos you created a breakdown or wrote a script for; add someone else's breakdown with "Add to my breakdowns".
    • In onboarding and when adding a creator, a wrong field now says what's wrong right under it.
    • You can now change your platforms for free from Edit on your profile; the AI doesn't run again.
    • Adding creators no longer makes the page jump while you type; a new creator appears at the end of the row.
    • "Filters" in Discover is now "More filters"; the little-used format and hook filters are gone.
    • Hide a suggestion with ✕ and it won't be suggested again; tap Undo if you hid it by mistake.
    • Creator profile pictures no longer disappear after a while.
    • There's a new Feedback button in the account menu (top bar on phones): send us ideas or bugs directly.
    • The app has a new icon.
    • The plans page now shows that every plan refreshes your creators daily.
    • The lowest score chip now reads "1×+": it shows videos at or above the creator's usual views. It used to say "All" but never showed everything.
    • Newly added creators now come with months of history, so their scores are more accurate from day one.
    • Discover can now sort by Outlier, Newest or Most viewed; see one creator's videos with the Creator filter or by tapping the @handle on a card. Search also finds creators and clears instantly with ✕.
    • You can sort saved videos by date saved, score, views or date posted.
    • When you add creators, every suggestion has its own Add button: one tap adds it and the window stays open.
    • The video page and My creators show when the data was last updated.
    • Recreate now writes the source creator's references to themselves in your own voice; other names, places and prices stay as they are.
    • Write for me now recreates the video by default: names, places, prices and handles stay as they are. You can still adapt the idea to your topic.
    • Discover has a 6-month tab, and each tab scores videos against the creator's videos from that period.
    • Video stats refresh every day, and older videos are updated weekly and monthly.
    • Instagram and TikTok covers now show the full vertical frame.
    • Thumbnails are no longer cropped: images that aren't vertical show whole over a blurred backdrop, and YouTube Shorts covers fill the card.
    • A cleaner video page: tap the thumbnail to open the original; save and collection sit in one row.
    • Picking a collection works the same everywhere: instant, it says where the item went, and you can undo it.
    • When you add a creator, accounts already in hithunter are suggested as you type, and the one you add shows right under the form.
    • New changelog page: follow the important updates from the link at the bottom of every page.
    • The feed's multiplier filter now has All (1×+) and 2×; you can switch the 3× filter off.
    • Your daily creator searches now depend on your plan: Plus and Pro get more.
    • The profile form now shows which field needs fixing and counts your keywords.
    • If your plan updates late after a payment, the page keeps checking.
    • Scripts now show what they took from the source video and which of your topics they use; back-to-back scripts pick different topics.
